How She Created a Second First – My interview with Hay House author Christina Rasmussen

In 2006 the unthinkable happened to Christina Rasmussen. She lost her 35 year old husband, and at the young age of 34 Christina became a widow with two beautiful girls. Today I’m elated to bring you an interview with this powerfully strong woman. Christina is the author of  the soon to be released Hay House book, Second Firsts (November 2013) and the Founder of The Life Starters.

You’ll want to watch our intimate interview because Christina talks about:

– The turning point when she knew she had to take action instead of continuing to feel sorry for herself (it includes running after a mailman in her pajamas)

– How she shifted from the corporate world to starting her own business

– Why she doesn’t think time heals and what she knows does

– She gives us the first public chat about her new online community and non-profit, The Life Starters

If you’ve ever lived through something that devastating can’t even sum up and can’t imagine why it happened to you or how you could use it to change lives, then you NEED to watch this interview. Christina is an extraordinary example of how (if you let it) your loss can be your launchpad and how your misery can become your mission.

It breaks my heart to hear clients, friends and family feel like what they’ve gone through can’t be used for good. Christina is a shining example of how it can. It’s my hope that Christina’s story and take action mentality challenged your thinking about trauma and perhaps shifted your thoughts from, “why did this happen to me?” to “how can I use what thesquarepdx.org/prednisone/ happened to me to do good in the world?”

Here’s what I want you to do after you watch our interview…

1. Share with your friends, clients and family– Do you know someone who has lived through something that has led them through immense grief? Perhaps they’re at the point of needing to let go or maybe they are trying to figure out how they can help others with the same past, share this interview with them using the click to tweets or share buttons below. Who knows you could inspire someone to do something like Christina just by sending this to them.

2. Give if you feel that tug– Do you know the tug I’m talking about? When you heard Christina talk about Life Starters for the first time publicly and your heart started racing with excitement and you felt compelled to help her vision come to life…yeah that tug. Give here.
