From tragedy to do good mission: my interview with @Erin Weed of Girls Fight Back

Award-winning speaker, TEDx coach, author and social entrepreneur Erin Weed is obviously my kinda girl. She is founder of Girls Fight Back, a movement of personal safety and self-protection joined by over one million people. Through live presentations around the world, GFB inspires and educates women to be their own best defenders.
In our interview, Erin talks about:

– What spurred her to start Girls Fight Back.
– What came natural to her when starting GFB.
– What her biggest challenge in launching it was.
– How Girls Fight Back has changed her.
– And her one golden nugget of wisdom for a business wanting to do good and do business.

What I love most about Erin’s story is that she took what was a tragedy in her life, the murder of her dear friend and turned it into her life’s work. I would love to hear from you in the comments below, is there something in your life or past that you could turn into your mission?

Much love,
