And it’s time…my TedxFoCo talk
In May of 2013, my husband and I took an early anniversary trip / biz trip and flew to the gorgeous state of Colorado so that I could talk at TEDxFoCo. And ever since my talk, I’ve been nervously awaiting getting an email letting me know that it was on youtube.
And last week, when I got that email…this started:
“Should I share it? I mean, I can tell I was a bit nervous (and pregnant) and I did forget that one line…will my online community want to watch it?”
That was a reminder for me that no matter how you step into your purpose, whether it’s getting your first client, taking on a passion project, waiting for donations to come in or doing a TEDx talk we are always vulnerable to feeling…
“am I enough?”
The good news is, I am sharing my TEDx talk with you and I know it will inspire you to take action and do good in the world. After months of preparing and feedback from amazing men and women like; my husband, Desiree Moore, Dyana Valentine, Tanya Geisler and Erin Weed…I was ready. I was ready to take the stage and encourage everyone to think about a new way of doing business and living life, one that isn’t all about business plans and to do lists, rather one that is about finding your point. Finding that thing that you know you need to make a difference in…one that allows you to use your past mistakes, failures and heartbreaks to change the world.
And I’m honored to say that I did it! Even though I was anxious, even though I had the am I good enough thoughts?…I really did it!
Without further ado…here it is, my TEDx talk, F Your Plan and Find Your Point.
Here’s to stepping into what you’re meant to do (even when it seems scary),
